Eclectic Essays
This book contains a compilation of over 30 years of poetry writings. Since poetry is an expression of one’s mind and heart one soon learns the writer is not just a poet but a poet that is a Christian.
I enjoy reading good poetry and have really been amazed with the indepth-ness of his writings. It is a joy in our times to find one who writes in his style.
You will find these heartfelt rendering a blessing as I have.

Concerning the Christ
"Concerning The Christ," is a book with four parts.
The first part of this work is a series of chapters describing the Lord's attributes. From this examination, we may grow in our Christian lives
putting the Lord ahead of us as our example.
The second part is a study of cyclical interpretive models and how they can foster our growth into a deeper understanding of His Scripture.
The third section is a study in convergent doctrine demonstrating the interweaving of the sacramental, dispensational, evangelical and charismatic streams of worship of the Triune God.
Finally, the fourth book is a poem entitled, "Clouds." This poem follows the organizational outline of the Book of the Revelation and
demonstrates the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ our Savior.

Dr. Kenneth Riggs
Dr. Ken Riggs has been an ordained minister and educator since 1963 and
has a broad background in many areas of ministry and education.
They Call Me Doc
Here
it is. A book that is partially an autobiography
of a teacher; a book that gives some of the attributes
of a good teacher; a book that tells of some of the antics that have occurred in the classroom; and a book that seeks
to analyze three educational issues
that need to be understood. Autobiography of a teacher, attributes of good teaching, antics in the classroom, and an analysis of issues. The words in italics are known as alliteration. Hopefully, it will help you remember
something about the book, and then again, maybe not, but enjoy the book. I had a good time writing it.
Ken Riggs
TESTIMONIES:
Listen as you read this book and you’ll hear the heartbeat of a true teacher. You’ll also hear what it takes to be a good teacher, only you’ll find the qualities illustrated rather than explained in dull prose. Ken Riggs draws from his own experiences and from teachers he’s known, and you can’t miss what makes them effective. If you’re a teacher or thinking about becoming one, or even if you just like to watch good teachers at work, this book is for you. And, for good measure, Ken tosses in a revealing dose of his philosophy of education and commitment to Christian education. Here’s my recommendation!
--Robert E. Picirilli, college Dean, educator, author, editor.
One regular occurrence throughout my entire adult life is people, whom I don’t even know, coming up to me to tell me how great my dad is. Most of the time, these people are former students who say my dad was the best teacher they ever had. Sometimes, they were never his students, but his influence and reputation were so strong on campus that he was still their favorite teacher. So, when you read this book, you are reading from a teacher who knows how to teach. But the book isn’t just for teachers. It’s for anyone who wants to know how to positively influence others. Also, you need to know that I agree with all those people who have told me how great a teacher my dad is.

Epiphany
This book is about a very precious gift given to me by the Holy Spirit, the gift of faith. I haven’t always referred to this gift
given to me as precious; in fact there’s been times in my life that I almost agreed with my family and thought of it as.…….more of a curse.
In 1983, I didn’t have a clue as to what the Lord meant by His mysterious revelations, and that’s what was most frightening! I
prayed earnestly for an answer, but I didn’t receive one. The answer came over a period of time through other unique manifestations, and I slowly began to understand this was the Lord’s way of preparing me for the “storms” in my life. Often, the way in which the Holy Spirit forewarned me caused more worry than the actual event for which I was being prepared! I couldn’t see then that it was through that worry that I truly learned what true faith in our Lord Jesus Christ is all about, trust.
Imagine being warned of an upcoming death through a vision as I was, but having no idea whose. It tested my faith and defined my
trust in the Lord. Over the years there have been times when I fell to my knees, literally, and I’ve cried to the Lord, “I’m not strong enough Lord, give this gift to someone else because I can’t handle it anymore.
