The Ministry, Our Memories, And The Memorials.
The book is available in three formats: the hardback will be $28.95, the paperback will be $21.95 and a DVD will be available for $12.
Finally the book many have been waiting for is available. This book contains the burial places for one of the oldest denominations in American ( Free Will Baptists ) with many in the Randall branch who served the First Baptist church
in American, and even some were descendants of Roger Williams. Nearly 900 Free Will Baptist ministers and leaders, with their burial places, has been gathered in this exhaustive study that contains a brief biography, photograph and in some cases a photo of their tombstone.
The book contains 448 pages representing 37 states and 3 foreign countries.
Unknown to many, there were many lady ministers in this early movement; and 36 burial places of women preachers were found with three in the Randall movement and the other 33 were before and after the 1935 merger between the
Cooperative and General Conferences that formed the present national convention. They were found in 11 states, with Missouri having 10 female ministers followed by nine from North Carolina whose burial cemeteries were located.
The complete index contains 26 pages in alphabetical order making it easier to find the person one is seeking. The book
contains people from both the Randall and Palmer movements,(who were started in different locations and continued to be divided by the slavery issue. The Randall movement united with the Northern Baptists in 1911) and regions where there has been, or still continues to be, Free Will Baptist churches independent to the present national convention.
It is a book of information, but you can't help but sense the excitement as they started churches across the country.
Because it is a story of the pioneers in New England, the Southeast, and the rugged minister that trot into the dust of the Indian Territory beginning churches wherever he went.
This is not just a book of their final resting place, but a book of fervency as many toiled with little success, but promised rest for their faithfulness. The record shows one minister who started more than 50 churches in the days when a horse was the means of transportation or with a bag over his back as he walked from one preaching point to another.
The book contains hundreds of photos along with stories that will intrigue you as you read The Ministry, Our Memories, And The Memorials.

Beautiful Mission Story $18.99
Mission Possible is a 42 chapter heartwarming novel containing war, history, romance, missions, ministry, church, world religions, and geography. It deals with the heartbreak of lost love, conflicts with peers, failure to do what is right and the consequences that come with each decision made. It is a story of misplaced values and how God puts a person into situations to fulfill His plan.
Beginning in the early 1960s, the book’s main character, Lieutenant Allen Livingston, finds his life turned upside-down. Throughout the next two decades he learns how God can use others to reveal His purpose to a person wherever they may be in the world. He learns how life may have been detoured by heartbreak, but that one can still find fulfillment and peace when they return to God’s will.
The Rasmussens, two Austrian doctors and supporting characters of the book, chose to leave opportunities for wealth and comfort to give their lives for the poor and homeless in one of the poorest countries in the world. It’s in a medical and teaching compound that they give more than fifty years of their life to this humanitarian effort with one thought plaguing them: And Who Will Follow Us?
Local towns, places of this area and the area where Dr. Loveless grew up in Arkansas, have formed a background for the story. The characters, while fictional, were drawn from relationships in Dr. Loveless’ past.

117 Travel Stories from around the world $19.99
The last 33 years has seen me active in conducting Teacher Training workshops, Christian Education and Interpersonal Relationship seminars in this country and abroad presenting more than 1100 of them. I have traveled, spoken, used as a consultant, or conducted seminars in 68 denominations and countless independent churches in 48 states and 35 foreign countries.
During my travels I kept a journal of interesting places and impressions of humor or inspiration that locale brought to me. Always I spent time researching adding to my knowledge of the places either before or after to increase my interest in where I would be visiting. In some cases a number of years have passed and quotes or resources have been lost but no intent to discredit or misquote was done. Most was done for my edification and originally publishing was not considered until the demand by friends and others.
The following pages are a few of the many places I have visited. Over the years many articles have been published that are not in the genre of this book. These have been published since 2004 as a weekly column called Here and There in a regional newspaper in Farmington, Missouri formally owned by the famous Pulitzer family of St. Louis.
Besides the printed editions the articles were sent out via internet entitled Monday Moments to a few thousand readers and a Blog by the same name has many of the published stories at altonloveless.blogspot.com.
Weekly emails and comments come from many states and foreign countries who ask to be added to the weekly emailing or with permission to forward to their lists.
Due to the constant requests for a book of these stories, I have chosen the following 117 stories which I hope are enjoyed by each who wish to take a word tour with me.

Missionary Romance $19.99
I have been a writer and publisher for many years, but writing a novel was completely a new adventure for me. It began as an idea I had while confined for 143 days in two St. Louis hospitals.
Upon returning home, I found that my wife had prepared a rehabilitation room for me equipped with a new computer and DSL connection next to my hospital bed for my entertainment. To keep from feeling sorry for myself and to help ease the discomfort I had, I began to write what I had envisioned months before.
For 40 years I had been involved in roles that brought me into contact with so many ministers and church leaders. Often many Godly people had betrayed these ministers and caused detours in their ministries, missions, and even marriages. There was unhappiness and confusion and a desire by wives to leave the fishbowl life. Some ministers left while others feared to even enter.
I have known the heartbreak of missionaries hurt as their children were submitted to other cultures and who had difficulty because of their restrictions or inability to rejoin our American way.
I am assured that God has never made a mistake in His call. The proof comes from the hundreds of clergy, missionaries and their families that I have seen fulfilled to great satisfaction as they remained faithful and completed the decision of His will for their lives.

Memoirs of my 55 years of ministry $24.95
My Memoirs entitled, Appointment with Destiny, is a 388 page book that begins with my birth and brief genealogy. I wrote it in a chronological order recording the churches I pastored, Schools attended, jobs I had and some places my wife and I have visited.
It is filled with the names of classmates, colleagues, and many friends. By no means was it possible to mention all who have contributed to my life but your name is probably in it.
More than 69 testimonial letters that acknowledge some way I made a contribution to their life and vocation or that reflects our role together are written into the era of our association.
It was written as a legacy for my children and grandchildren to have a record about the escapes of their father or grandfather and for the many you asked me to put in words a portion of my life.
Autobiography, minister, publisher, columnist, traveler, missions.

My call to preach came early in life and I began my pastoral career at age 17. When I was 20, I was hired by John C. Maxwell as his first staff member in Lancaster, Ohio. John and I would often drive to Columbus, Ohio for lunch or to make a hospital visit with one of our church members. The trip always included a stop at the Ambassador Bookstore in Columbus to see our friend, Dr. Alton Loveless. The visit with Dr. Loveless not only forged a lifelong friendship for me, it fueled the passion I have today to read good books and even write a few!
Alton Loveless knows books and he knows how to write. With his rich history as a bookstore manager, seminar speaker and as President of Randall House Publications, his life has been immersed with the printed page.
In reflection, I sat at his feet many times and listened to him describe books that he had read. Often as John C. Maxwell and I would sit and talk with Alton, he would hold up a book by R.G. Lee or Warren Wiersbe and with a twinkle in his eye and passion in his voice, he would declare, “this is the best book I have ever read and you boys need to read it.” I still treasure those books on my library shelf and thank God for the guidance and influence that Dr. Loveless had on my life and especially on John whose books have now sold over 20 million copies.
These Memoirs by Alton Loveless will bless, encourage and inspire every reader to passionately pursue Christ and to read everything that has been written about our Lord and Savior. The life of Dr. Loveless has impacted many. This book is going to touch many lives and inspire someone just like me to understand that leaders are readers.
Grab a cup of coffee and sit back in your best chair and read about a life well lived and about a man who has lived his life with a passion for the truth. Here’s a book from a man of integrity whose walk matches his talk. He lives what he writes.
